On my controller for my radio controlled car it says 27.145MHz. It is a four fuction controller.  So does it mean the higher the MHz the farther it can go.  If not why is the MHz of radio controls advertised sometimes?  I there a way of finding out how far it can go or the range radio controllers have.

I think thats so you don't end up with multiple cars using the same frequency.

The cars would certainly get confused if more than one was at the same frequency.
