[i][/i] :( I AM A RETURNING COLLEGE STUDENT (7YEARS SINCE i HAVE BEEN IN COLLEGE)  I HAVE A PHYSICAL SCIENCE COURSE THAT I HAVE TO PASS.....  CAN SOMEONE PLEASE  ??? HELP ME WITH THE FOLLOWING COVERSION PROBLEMS:
1.  IF A CAR GETS 25.0 MILES PER GALLON, HOW MANY KM CAN IT GO ONE ONE LITER OF GAS?
2.  AN AQUARIUM FILTER CAN CLEAN 275 ML OF WATER PER MINUTE.  HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FILTER TO CLEAN 10.0 GALLONS OF WATER?

PLEASE, HELP.......  CAN YOU PLEASE SHOW ME THE WORK.... ???

For problem 1.
1 mile/gallon = 0.425 kilometer/liter
25 * 0.425 = 10.625 kilometers/liter
The car can travel 10.626 kilometers on a liter of gas.

For problem 2.
1 milliliter = 0.000264 gallons
275 * 0.000264 = 0.0726 gallons
0.0726 gallons per minute
10 / 0.0726 = 137.74
It will take 137.74 minutes to pump 10 gallons
Which is 2 hours, 17 minutes, 44 seconds

That is with some rounding off.
