Urgent question- cc to grams?

I have a liquid gel that is 200 cc and have an urgent need to know how to determine how many grams that is equal to. If any one could help I would really appreciate it.
Thanks, Lucy

I believe that since you are going from volume (cc) to mass (g) you would need to know the density of the substance. However, remember the rule that 1cc is the same as 1ml and the density of pure water = 1g/ml so your gel weighs a bit over 200 grams. To calculate exactly, you need to know the density of the gel, or the percentage of the gel (g/100ml).

I assume this is something medical related. If so, your best bet would be to contact a pharmacist. Most of the big chain stores will help you over the phone.
