How do you convert tensile strength from (daN/cm) to (kg/in) ? Please help ..

You would just multiply daN/cm times 2.59 to get kg-f/in. Here is how I figured it out:
1 dekanewton = 1.019716 kilograms-force
1 centimeter = 0.3937 inches
daN/cm * (1.019716/0.3937) = kg-f/in
daN/cm * 2.59 = kg-f/in
Though the mixing of metric and US units, such as "kilogram/inch" is very unusual.
