if a piece of land is 22 acres and you know that it is rectangle shaped and 600ft or 200 yards wide how deep is it?  Thanks

First we should convert all the measurements to the same base unit, such as feet.

22 acre = 958,320 square foot

Now the formula for area is:
Area = Length * Width

and since you know the area, and the width, we need to solve for the length:
Length = Area / Width

So:
Length = 958,320 / 600 = 1,597.2

It is 1,597.2 feet long if it is 200 feet wide.
