Can any one help in converting MHZ into cm, m, yds.
Im not asking to do my HW just need an example.
Q: FM station plays at 103 MHz. Calculate the wavelength of this radiation in cm, m, yds ;D

Speed of Light = 299,792,458 meters/second
For the AM band:
wavelength = Speed of Light/Frequency
For the FM band:
wavelength = (Speed of Light * 1000)/Frequency
The Frequency must be in Hertz, so convert megahertz to hertz first.
The resulting wavelength will be in meters, you then just need to convert to centimeters, yards, whatever unit you need.
