Cat food :-)

Cat food :-)

Ok. If a can of cat food has a net wt. of 14.25 oz (404g) and the can says to feed a 5-10 lb cat 1/3 to 3/8 of the can a day, then how many tablespoons a day should the cat eat of the cat food?!

Thanks!

For tablespoons, we'd need to know the volume of the can. Knowing the net weight wont help. (unless you also knew the density).

Assuming it is a round can, measure the diameter, and the height.  I can create the conversion for you based on that.

Or, there is the Thomas Edison approach, you could just count how many tablespoons in one can, and multiply that by 1/3 or 3/8. Or dump it into a measuring cup, either way will work.
