mpg to L/100km

Hello everybody!

A US car specs show fuel consumption 18/23 mpg (miles per gallon?). Need a formula for a quick conversion to EU measure L per 100 km.

You can find that conversion here:
http://www.onlineconversion.com/fuel_consumption.htm

18 miles/gallon(US) = 13.0674769 liters/100 km
23 miles/gallon(US) = 10.226721 liters/100 km

In the U.S. there are two numbers listed for fuel economy, one is city and the other highway.  For example, 18 MPG city driving and 23 MPG highway driving.
