square footage to tons

I need to find out how to covert 640,000 square feet of 6" class 2 base into tons  Your help is appreciated.

Weight to volume conversions depend on the density of the substance. Every substance will have a different conversion factor.

I am not sure what class 2 base is, but if you know the density I can help with the conversion.
