code for time conversion
by Aligeti Sapnah on 11/11/05 at 12:08:37

I really liked the idea of grabbing the time from the browser and converting the time automatically......I am trying to develop a c# windows application code to convert time for different countries....... i was wondering what would be the best way to do this ???????????
Thank you for any comments........

You can gather information on all the different time zones here:
http://www.greenwichmeantime.com/

You should probably synchronize their time and timezone with a NIST clock first, as many people have the time zone set incorrectly in their computer. They may have the time set correctly, but if they set the wrong time zone it will throw off all of your calculations.

Same thing happens with the browser version I use, except that there are limitations to web browsers and I can do nothing to fix it as you could with an executable program.
