We have a Natural Gas Burning Insert in our fireplace.
What would be the HOURLY $ cost to operate the gas insert at :
Low speed of 30,000BTU ?
High speed of 50,000BTU ?
Cost per Winter Tier therm = 1.294630
Anyone able toconvert.
I dont have a clue. ??? ???  ???

A therm is approximately 100,000 Btu.

(30,000/100,000) * 1.29 = 0.387
(50,000/100,000) * 1.29 = 0.645

At 30,000 Btu per hour it would cost you about $0.387 per hour

At 50,000 Btu per hour it would cost you about $0.645 per hour
