60 gallon [US, liquid] = 13,860 cubic inch
13,860 cubic inch / 34 inches = 407.647 square inches
Now using the circle solver conversion page, we find a circle with an area of 407.647 square inches will have a diameter of 22.78 inches.

given:
volume=60 gallons
hight of the cylender=34inches
required:diameter of the cylender=?
soln':
a.)convert gallons to cubic inch:
60 gallons( 3.785 li/gallons)(cubic metre/ 1000 li)(1000000 cubic cm / 1 cubic meters)( 1 cubic inch/ 16.4 cubic cm) = 13847.5 cubic inch
volume of cylender:
v= (pi d square/ 4 )x(height)
= (3.1416)(d square) ( height)/ 4
[glow=red,2,300]d = square root of(13847.5x 4)/(3.1416X34)
=22.7 inch[/glow]
