I am trying to figure out how many square feet are in a ton of tan 57 stone.  This is killing me.

I am not sure what that type of stone is, and I was unable to find density data for it.

To calculate that you need to know the density of the material. If you can find out the density I can help with the conversion.

square feet is unit for area( square in, square m, etc.). area is a measurement for surface. while ton is a unit for mass ( kg, lb, mg, etc.). mass is a measure of quantity in a body. therefore you cannot relate area to mass. not unless you were given a volume and density of a substance.
